Yonas Yohans, a young man who came to Mekelle to visit his family after two years, said that his life apart from his family was very difficult. He said he felt like he was reborn when he thought he was going to see his family in Tigray.
Ms. Kahsu Hailu, who we met with her two children, told our site that she felt very happy.
It is a touching event where people who were separated from their families reunited after 19 months on the Ethiopian Airlines plane that arrived in Mekele this afternoon.
