Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) branches in Aksum have been providing regular banking services since February 1, 2015. According to Fitsum Measho, Deputy Executive Director of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) Aksum Branch, a customer can withdraw money up to 50,000 birr per day and up to 300,000 birr per week. A customer of the bank can avail the full service by bringing a notebook with an account opened in any part of the country, he said. Customers who have lost their notebook accounts for various reasons can submit their identity cards and receive proper services through the bank’s existing process, he added.
