In the explanation; “It is known that the government has made the public transport service providers the beneficiaries of the fuel subsidy. Three-wheelers or Bajaj drivers, as they are commonly called, have become a source of complaints by the residents of our city by increasing prices unnecessarily and some of them engage in criminal activities,” the administration said.
They stated that the city administration is making operational adjustments to organize the Bajaj service and until this is implemented, it has been decided to stop the Bajaj transport service in all areas of the city.
However, none from the city administration has mentioned how these Bajaj owners will survive if they have to quit their transport service.
