The people of Tigray in general and the people of Western Tigray in particular have been displaced from their homes, massacred in their homes and their properties were looted. The survivors are suffering this winter by spreading UN shelters in the countryside from Adiyabo to Mekelle, with other survivors already fled to Sudan. Even their own government is not doing enough for the oppressed people whom the world has denied eyes and ears. On June 9/2023, more than 60 shelters were destroyed, more than 30 IDPs were slightly injured, more than 6 were seriously injured and one died, in Hitsats due to storms.
Neither the Tigrayan and Ethiopian governments nor the international community has said anything about how long this people will suffer. But the oppressed people of Tigray are still suffering from man-made and natural problems in this 21st century. It is enough to be human to understand this people anyway. But there is no doubt that history will hold the inhuman leaders of Tigray and Ethiopia accountable.
