The council discussed the bill prepared to establish the members of the Tigray Negotiating Group to represent the government of Tigray in the peace negotiations, as well as to decide on the tasks and responsibilities to be performed.
According to the list of names provided, the delegation members of the Tigray Negotiating Group are as follows.

1. Mr. Getachew Reda
2. General Tsadekan Gebretinsae
3. Dr. Fisha Haftetsion
4. Ambassador Wondmu Asaminew
5. General Tadese Werede
6. Mrs. Yalem Tsegay
7. Mr Beyene Mikru
8. Associate Professor Meresa Tsehaye

In addition to these, the negotiating team, including two members from the Tigray Diaspora community and one from rival political parties, has been approved by a majority vote to make the delegation to represent Tigray in the peace negotiations to consist of 11 members.
