Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it has started its regular flight from Addis Abeba to Mekelle. Today at 12:00 pm local time, the Airlines made its first flight to Mekelle after a 2 years long genocidal war, imposed on the people of Tigray.

The communication specialist of the airlines, Mr. Ashenafi Zeray, mentioned that “Air transportation from Addis Ababa to Mekele, which was interrupted, officially started today at 12:00 o’clock,” he said in a statement to FBC.
