I have carefully listened to the PM’s speeches to the parliament, yesterday. I am surprised by both his ignorance and arrogance to address a country of 120 million people in total crisis and at verge of disintegration with little concern, if any. In fact, I am amazed by his delusional belief in his prosperity gospel that the country is making a Great Leap Forward. Furthermore, I am surprised by his capacity to be a pathological liar by presenting Ethiopia as a paradise in the making forgetting that the country is just partly moving out of its bloodiest and senseless war in its long recorded history in which more than a million people lost their lives, millions more have been dislocated, about twenty billions of dollars were wasted and more than twenty millions are starving. And, again not surprisingly, when he was bombarding his intimidated parliamentarians with cooked data – nobody dared to ask him hard questions, such as who cooked the data? He boldly dismissed the on-going civil war across the country, especially in Oromia. And, without shame he took more than two ours to answer questions asked by two members- one of whom asked his resignation and disbanding of the parliament to salvage the country. We can only say, ‘let God save Ethiopia.
