According to the statement, the hospital is currently unable to provide food to malnourished patients in need. The 600-bed facility, which offers a wide range of medical services in the Tigray region, is facing financial challenges due to insufficient budget allocation.

The hospital indicated that it is struggling to generate income independently, as the devastating effects of the genocidal war in Tigray have impacted its resources.
