Crucial issues related to contemporary immigrants of Ethiopian nationalities in Saudi.

*Human rights* for innocent immigrants are based on universal principles that apply to all people, regardless of nationality or legal status.

➨ *Right to life and security.*

No immigrant regardless of status-should face violence, arbitrary detention, or threats to their safety.

➨ Freedom from discrimination based on _race, religion, nationality, or origin.

➨ *Right to seek asylum*
*People fleeing* persecution have the right to apply for protection, as recognized in agreements like the *1951 Refugee Convention* .

➨ Protection from torture and death. No immigrant should be subjected to cruel treatment and death under any circumstances.

➨ Under international law, being an immigrant does not strip someone of their basic human dignity or rights.

➨ These rights are sometimes challenged by national immigration policies, border and enforcement. But under international law, being an immigrant does not strip someone of their *basic human dignity or rights.*

➨ Under international law, a government doesn’t lose responsibility for its citizens just because they are outside its borders and territories.

➨ Thus an Ethiopian GOV. Consular protection and assistance, following the principle which is reflected in the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.

➨ The Ethiopian Federal government has duty to protest and seek accountability If credible evidence of torture emerges as it is happening currently in Saudi Arabia.

➨ The home government should formally protest, request investigations, and push for accountability.

➨ Every nations and nationalities should recognize the torture is prohibited under international law, especially the United Nations Convention Against Torture, which bans it totally.

➨ Diplomatic protection.
States can take up claims on behalf of their nationals against another state .

➨ Thus, government must not assist, or ignore torture. Because, those three cases are mostly that responsibility and accountability due to Federal Government in the Federal System of poltical administration.
These are:
➩ Safety or security of the national publuc,
➩ Monetary assysstance and management,
➩ Soveriegnity protection.

Therefore, we ask to our Ethiopian Federal Government to do so!
