Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie has been appointed as the President of Ethiopia, following the completion of President Sahle-Work Zewde’s term.
The opening ceremony of the 6th House of People’s Representatives and the 4th year of the House of Federation is currently taking place.
During the ceremony, which was jointly held by the two councils, Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie was officially appointed as the new President of Ethiopia.
It is worth noting that prior to this appointment, Ambassador Taye was serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Taye Atske-Selassie has been appointed as the new president of Ethiopia.
