TPLF has announced the removal of 13 officials, including Getachew Reda, from their positions. Getachew Reda, who was serving as the president of the Tigray interim administration, was among those dismissed.

The Tigray People’s Liberation Front, led by Dr. Debretsion, stated that a total of 13 officials, including four cabinet members, were removed from their posts, with successors appointed in their place.

The announcement was made in a statement released on the official TPLF Facebook page on Monday, October 7, 2024. The decision to remove these officials, who were serving as leaders in both the interim administration of Tigray and the regional zones, was made during a meeting of the party’s central committee led by Dr. Debretsion last Friday.
