The TPLF has taken the path of salvation by conducting extensive assessments and holding a legal and democratic congress in accordance with the decision of the Central Committee. Unfortunately, a faction within the party has refused to address its internal weaknesses as the party enters its 14th congress. This group, known for corruption and national treachery, has been using its administrative responsibilities within the party for political cleansing.
The Interim Administration, which has a clear mission and organization, has been hijacked by this faction, leading to a lack of planning and direction, and committing historic injustices against the people of Tigray. The Interim Administration was tasked with ensuring peace and security, starting recovery and reconstruction works, implementing the Pretoria Agreement, and ensuring accountability for genocide. However, this faction has strayed from these missions, using their power for theft, national treason, and political conspiracy.
In summary, this faction within the interim administration is operating above the law, dispersing resources meant for the people and government for their own gain. They are undermining the strength of the army, creating fear among the people, and attempting to turn Tigray into a military regime. They are working to dismantle national organizations, disrupt political and ethnic unity, and divide the Tigrayan people through backwardness and localism.
It is clear that allowing this faction to continue in office will only bring more consequences and national destruction. Therefore, the TPLF Central Committee has made the decision to remove these individuals including Getachew Reda from their administrative positions on behalf of the party.
Getachew Reda was relieved of his duties as the interim administration president on behalf of the TPLF. How and by whom they will be replaced will be done in consultation with the federal government and relevant bodies.
The following individuals have been removed from the Tigray Interim Cabinet effective October,7, 2024:

The TPLF is committed to ensuring the stability and progress of Tigray and will not allow this faction to lead, decide, or represent the region
