Opposition Party Salsay Weyane Tigray Warns of Deepening Crisis in the Region.

The opposition party Salsay Weyane Tigray has issued a press release expressing grave concern over the worsening political and security situation in the Tigray region. The party warns that the failure to establish a representative government and implement the peace agreement (𝕡𝕣𝕖𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕒 𝕒𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥) is prolonging the suffering of millions.

According to the statement, Tigray continues to face “multiple, interconnected crises,” with the political deadlock at their center. The party argues that the absence of a legitimate government has left daily life dominated by armed actors, undermining stability and trust.

The Salsay Weyane Tigray accuses the Government of Ethiopia of ignoring repeated calls to take concrete steps toward restoring constitutional order.
